Reassign issue to an active form

We suspect that a form was deleted, which left issue in the design review to be link to an orphan form.

Request is to allow us to reassign orphan form to one that is active.

Generally speaking, we would like to be able to change form in the lifecycle of an issue. As the issue mature or evolve to something bigger or more complicated than what is initially observe.

Or we simply have a new version of a form and wanted to move older form to migrate to the new one.

    Hello Caitlin

As always thank you for following-up much appreciate.

Many times we use AHA as a brainstorm request and we do not always layout the full depth or the idea. Also some of the idea are shape based on the state of the system at the time we submit.

When we initially start using forms, many were delete and we had no way to restore them. Whihc left form in production to be left wth no parent. Making imposisble to improve the forms. It alos lead to other issue.

Since at that time it was not possible to recover or restore delete form, it was suggest that we may link existing orphan form to a new parent.

Also as we introduce new divison, departement and discipline to strore their document under projectwise we at teh same time have to create new forms. Obviously the form evolve require us to manage from version.

So the whole ide that is behind this request is to have a full lifecycle form management as we may end up with 100's of form. Alos since form have workflow many form may be used to initiate business process.

    etc......

    Hi Luc
I am going through old ideas trying to clean them up.

I am not sure I understand this ask, if the form instance is still in an "open" (editable) status then you can (and always could) link it to any other form instance you would like.

Give that this has always been possible, I think i must be missing something; can you please expand?

    Thank you,
    Caitlin
